I have one wirelesss net connection a my home and my mother who lives at the next house have another
So i want to connect my PC to both networks to have more internet speed
Is it possible? How can i connect one PC to TWO different wireless net connections?
To get access to 2 different wireless networks at the same time, you need to wireless cards/dongles
1 card/dongle will connect to one network, and the other network card/dongle will connect to the other network
The only use for something like this is if you wanted to have access to files from a different computer on your network, and at the same time have access to files on a different network at the same time, to get more speed, you need to upgrade your bandwidth, you will not get a faster connection by spanning it between 2 different internet sources, it will either use one or the other, but not both at the same timeHow can i connect one PC to TWO different wireless net connections?
NO
only one connection at a time, it like trying to plug in 2 land line in one computer its not gonna work !
+ thats not how you get faster internet !
You need 2 Wireless cards,
But that wont double your speed
to do that you need to create static routes with different default gateways depending on the IP address requested.
Not easy if you dont know what you are doing.
You can get software that bonds connections, but again djue to headroom that wont double your speed
The best way to do it is use VMWare and route each virtual machine dependent on individual default gateways assigning each to different interfaces (wireless cards)
It is possible, though not worth the effort from a home user point of view
nope its not possible
%26gt;u can connect only one n/w at a time
There are 2 ways to do this.
1. Have two wireless cards on your computer and setup access to both networks manually.
2. If your computer has a NIC or the normal ethernet card, connect the computer directly to your wireless hub/router with an ethernet cable and setup wireless to use your mom's connection which is next door.
Good luck!
P.S: You will only see a marginal speed increase incase of browsing, but P2P and shared downloads will get faster.
