Im working on a novel & need the Net Worth of General Motors and a few other companies. How would i find that?

In this novel i need to cite the net worth of large companies such as BMW and GM. This is simply to make it more believable, not to cite the exact number, just so I have a ballpark figure.Im working on a novel %26amp; need the Net Worth of General Motors and a few other companies. How would i find that?
go to Yahoo Finance. Then punch in GM in the stock quote block. Most of the info. you seek may be accessed on the left side of the page. The annual report should be in the library. Look for the 8-K filings on GM. I imagine there are material facts reported in recent weeks.
