Any tips on how to restore the whitness to my net curtains ?

Apart from buying the Dylon Curtain White does anypne have any tips on how to restore the crisp whiteness to net curtains ?



Heard that steradent tablets can be used - has anyone tried this, if so what was the result -did you soak the nets in the bath with tablets or put them in the washing machine ?

To get net curtains white again you can put a sterilising tablet (the kind you would use for baby bottles ) in a bucket half filled with hot water watch them turn white in front of your eyes. the easiest way is to bleach them.

there is instructions on bottles of bleach. basically you just soak them for a while then wash them, of squirt a bit of bleach into the washing machine. -not to much though, you can damage the fabric
LOL I actually did my daughters landing window one last night. Soaked it in a mix of Ace bleach and Oxy powder mixed in hot water - left it overnight to soak - result a lovely white curtain this morning.
Go to the supermarket and buy a pack of Glo-White net curtain whitener which is specially for net curtains. Follow the instructions on the pack. Your nets will look brand new and have a shine to them when dry.
