Its possible someone has the same email but if it doesnt work just create a new emailHow can i make a battle.net account if i already have a World of Warcraft account?
It is highly unlikely that someone has stolen your email address to set up a Battlenet account. After all, any and all email notifications would go to your email address and you would know. When Warcraft set up the merger...note the term...it was set up so that those who already had Warcraft only had to log into Battlenet the SAME login information that you would have used in Warcraft.
In otherwords, if you signed up with fred@wow.com when you signed up for Warcraft, then just go to Battlenet and login (DO NOT REGISTER) with fred@wow.com. The account is already there, you just have to finalize the merger of your account to the new site...
A lot of people don't realize that there are some amazing tools out there to help you build up your World of Warcraft account. It doesn't matter if you are looking to level up faster or if you are trying generate gold to buy new elite armor.
If your email is already in use on battle.net, click the option for 'I forgot my password' to have it sent to that email.
most likley. call blizzard billin, or check out the official customer service forums. they will have better information they can give you than any one here.
