How to determine net force using mass and velocity?

I have a mass of 30kg and I'm riding in a car going at a steady speed of 30m/s on a straight road. What is the net force acting on me?How to determine net force using mass and velocity?
force F = m [v - u]/t ............... Newton's 2nd law

riding with constant speed, v = u = initial=final = 30 m/s

F = [m/t][30 - 30] = 0

net force on you is ZERO

==============

your applied force = opposing force

F (net) =0
