I am doing 99 Red Balloons for my last dance and I need to know how many balloons and the size of the net I need to make it look cool, but not overwhelming. The stage is 40 ft. Wide. Any thoughts would be helpful!How many balloons and what size net do I need for a balloon drop in a theatre?
Generally, the more balloons the better. If you want a memorable highlight to your performance, worthy of cell phone videos, lots of laughter, fun, and popping, don't skimp on the balloons. Get the largest net possible, or multiple nets that are coordinated to release simultaneously or, for a prolonged steady sustained drop, the multiple nets will need to be triggered one by one.
