How can you throw a cast net using one hand?

I already know how to throw a cast net but I was told by a friend that he saw a someone throw a net by using one hand. He twisted the net up in one hand some kind of way and threw it almost straight up and landed perfectly. Anyone know how?How can you throw a cast net using one hand?
